Day 23

(Day 23 of what? Of my 365 gratitude challenge! Also, howdy!)

Well, today wasn’t the most easiest day for me. I have two freshman, one of them legit told me that he’s going to break all the rules. At least you can’t say he doesn’t have passion, I guess. It’s hard carrying the weight of trying to keep your kids in line. But with that said, I leave my book The Greatest Secret around and randomly open it to a page when I’m noticing my thoughts are seeming more believable. I opened to a great page of remembering to welcome the emotion and to stay in Awareness. It helped the relieve some of the weight I didn’t realize I was carrying. With all this said, I still have lots of things to be grateful for today. Here’s my list.

I am truly blessed for this day because I had my family members come to me with good news, I’ve had my kids laugh before being upset with me enforcing our rules, I had tons of birds come to my window, and I finished an illustration example page today.

With all my heart, thank you for Jon because of how he loves all of me and our family, for being such a great father and stepdad, for seeing me as an equal, and for working hard providing for our family. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am very thankful for Aurora because of her great laugh and for listening so well to me most of the time. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am truly grateful for Aidan because of how silly he is and for trying to be better with his hygiene. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am incredibly blessed for Noah, because of how he looks out for others and for being there when I need him. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am extremely blessed for Cole because of how he’s an amazing big brother, how thoughtful and selfless he is, and for being happy to work with his dad. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am so blessed and happy for my parents because of their continual love and support and for living their lives to the fullest. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am truly grateful for Mary Jane and Tom because of how they tell such great memories old and new and for being in a state of joy more than fear. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am incredibly blessed for Mark and Tammy because of how much love they give to my family and for all the fun in the sun we have together. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

With all my heart, thank you for our home because of all the love and light it holds, and for keeping my family safe and warm. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am truly blessed and so happy for Jon’s dream job because of how he gets to work with his best friends Bobby, Cole, Noah, for the abundance of joy and money it brings into his life, and for having pride in the work he does everyday. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am so happy and blessed to be able to write, illustrate, and create because it brings me an abundance of joy, lets me meet people who love silly, imaginative stories, and for being able to lift someone’s spirits up. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am so blessed for Scrappy, Orion, and Sirius because of the love they bring to my whole family, and for the warm cuddles and the joy of seeing us. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am truly blessed for my friendships and my family because of everyone’s different viewpoints, and for all the ways I get to laugh with them. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am so happy and blessed for our abundance of money because it pays for our bills and more, lets my family take vacations together, and for letting us be generous to others. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am deeply grateful for the trees because of their grand beauty and for cleaning our air, soil, and water. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am so blessed for the Universe for guiding me, always having my back, and for the unexpected money you send my way. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am truly lucky and fortunate for our water because it creates all life, and for it healing everything it touches. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
