Day 25

a practice of lettering I did the other day.

Today was a hard day for me being a stepmom to a 15 year old teen. It was hard because of how mean a 15 year old can be, especially if you catch them in a lie and they double down on it. Anyways, it was hard to remind myself not to get on that level. I do have to say, I let go of the two hour argument faster than I normally would. That’s progress I’ll take! With all that said, I had some laughs throughout the day, I finished up two illustrations, I had some great hugs, and I had some magic find me.

A reminder that with the full moon on the 16th, I’ll be starting a gratitude 28 day challenge if you’d like to join. Something to think about. I’ll share my list of what I’d like to see unfold in the year on the 15th under my gratitude list.

Some days it flows, some days it’s slow, but just doing it feels good. I did five today.
Meet Sirius. Orion lounged off right before the picture.

Have a magical day!

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏
