Day 30

Whooo whoo!!! 30 days! This full moon is affecting me with a protective force, reminding me to focus on the good in life. Doesn’t make me the best to be around, I’m sure, but it helps me deal with what I can handle.

On the eve of my 28 gratitude challenge I pulled a oracle card from my Sacred Forest Deck by Denise Linn

“Abounding insight, profound majesty, and grace are available to you now, simply by pulling your awareness inward.”

For this challenge I’m going to be using the book by Rhonda Byrne “The Magic” as a guide. I’m doing it a little differently though, I’m not sticking to doing my gratitude in the morning, I simply can’t. So, around midnight it is! I will read something spiritual in the morning to set my mindset like Oprah suggests. But my journaling will be at night. I will also be handwriting my gratitude in the challenge just because I like making rules for myself. 🙂

Here is my list of wants: Something you should do before the 16th what I like to call day 1 of 28! Not really sure if that’s going to stick or not. But I’ll also start using my instagram handle @TheOfficialGratitudeWItch for this challenge as well. Hopefully.

If you notice I broke them down into categories and wrote what I wanted in each one. Rhonda suggests figuring out exactly how much money you need for a trip or your kid’s school. If you don’t have a partner right now, she suggests writing down all the traits you’d like them to have. Write thinking about your wants now, a month from now, or in the next year. Also, don’t think how they’ll come to you, just what you want. I always dream big, and I always will. Why not, really?

Okay I hope you join me tomorrow let me know in the comments if you do.

Here’s what I am grateful for today.

I am very thankful and blessed for being able to have good talks with my kids, for them feeling safe to talk to me about things that make them vulnerable and for having those moments. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏
