Day 6 of 28

Gratitude Journaling Challenge Day 6

“When this card chooses you,
you are at the advent of remarkable time of ease,
wisdom, healing, joy, and inspiration.”
The Sacred Forest Oracle Deck by Denise Linn.

Today was a really great day for me. I reminded myself to be grateful for my job throughout the day, it helped me stay in the feeling of gratitude for a long time. I just wrote out my gratitude journal, right after I asked for an oracle card, and now I’m typing. I had a lot of fun with the kids over the sleepover. I educated my friend Ayla on who Jim Carey is by watching Liar, Liar. My favorite part of my day today was having my whole family under one roof during lunch. It’s my favorite when everyone is together.

Here’s my journal for today.

For day 7, it’s all about noticing negative thoughts. Generally, we don’t notice what we’re saying or thinking a negative thought fully. I at least know, I don’t notice it from time to time. So, just for tomorrow pay attention and try not to say anything negative. If and when you catch yourself from saying one or thinking it, simply state “But I have to say that I am really grateful for____”

Rhonda Byrne on chapter seven of “The Magic”, also suggests writing out ten reasons you’re grateful for something you’d like to change in your life. If you don’t have a job, write ten reasons why that’s alright and it’s helping you towards getting a job. If you have a bad relationship with someone, point out all the reasons why that’s helped you or events that happened in the past that we’re happy about that person.

I hope you have one of the best days ever today!

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏
