Day 7 of 28

On going gratitude challenge!

“Your family has your back.”
Denise Linn’s Sacred Forest Oracle Deck

Today was a little crazy. I had moments happened to me today, that were extremely lucky. First I was cutting a sub for my daughter and I and the knife broke in half. Secondly, I went to unplug a stain glass grinder and a lamp plug let me hold an electric surge of red-orange light and I was able to move all the card board and paper out of the way so a fire didn’t start. I had a small square burn left in my hand. It was truly a crazy experience. Here’s a picture of the knife and the lamp plug.

With that said after they happened I reflected on how grateful I am to be lucky I didn’t get seriously injured. How I feel truly blessed to have some ancestors and angels watching over me.

I did pretty good with turning any negative thoughts to positive ones today. When I did say something bad I reflected on what I was happy about in the given situation. Felt pretty good.

Here’s my gratitude journal for the day

Day 8 is all about being grateful for your food. Think about every aspect of how the food got to your table. The farmer who raised the chicken and plucked the egg, the truck driver who brought your eggs to your grocery store, the grocery store for selling the egg to you. Think of the whole process of all the ingredients and be grateful for how they come into your life. Also, when you make yourself something to eat, sprinkle a little magic on it. Pretend, like a kid that you can sprinkle gratitude onto your food and your families food and bring a little magic into the day.

Have a glorious night!

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏
