Day 14 of 28

(Gratitude challenge halfway point!)

“When you stop looking at the world through a lens of your past, you’ll find how fresh and wondrous the Universe truly is.”
Denise Linn’s Sacred Forest Oracle Deck.

For making today magical, I had a lot to be grateful for before I did it. I was grateful before dropping off my stepson to school- he was ready and even brushed his teeth! I did the same for Aurora’s dentist and doctors appointment- they went well too, no long waits. I was hoping Aidan didn’t have homework, he did. But he only had three problems, he didn’t finish in class. And he took notes!!! I was truly happy for him. I had a pretty magical day.

Here’s my gratitude journal below.

For day 15, it’s about a tough relationship you have. Someone who you wished you connected with or healed with forgiveness. You write down ten reasons why you’re grateful for that person. I’m going to pick my brother tomorrow. For example, I would write how I am grateful for his artist eye and for him being able to show the world his art. I am grateful for Kelly because of how in our childhood we could play and imagine together for hours at a time.

You want to focus all your attention on all the parts you miss and love about that person. I think in either case you end up sending a lot of love and light energy. I hope when I am fully in the feeling of gratefulness, he’ll feel it and be a little lighter because of it.

Alright, have a magical day!

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏
