Day 20 of 28

Eek! Day 20 also day 50! Gratitude journaling challenge

“The appearance of this card is a message to believe in your intuition,
no matter where it takes you.”
Denise Linn’s Sacred Forest Oracle Deck

I had a quiet, rain turned to snow kind of day. My daughter is on set tech crew for her high school musical and I am grateful that I am here for her while she’s doing a lot extra. Aidan took notes in math again! I am so incredibly grateful he took notes making it way easier to help him with his homework. Right when I was writing my gratitude journal my husband woke up and used the bathroom. I thought he went back upstairs, but instead put on his new sunglasses and hat he bought to match his boat and asked me, if I’d like to go on a boat ride. He got me and I laughed so hard. I am super grateful for his sense of humor, especially if it’s the middle of the night for him.

Here’s my gratitude journal for today

I did pretty good about thinking about thank yous coming out of my heart today. I watched the birds at my feeders and sent them thank you’s through my heart. I also did it with all my chores, running errands, and with my loved ones while they were in front of me.

For day 21, it’s about Magnificent Outcomes. Thinking and visualizing your outcome of something you’d like done. It’s a thought of seeing the outcome be magnificent. Replacing dread with gratitude before the thing that has to be done today happens. Want a great dentist appointment to go well, say your gratitude before and see it going well.

Here’s a picture I snapped of Sirius tonight. He stayed still long enough for a great photo.

Have a magnificent day!✨

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏
