Day 23 of 28

“Take back your power, and express your strength with grace.”
Denise Linn’s Sacred Forest Oracle Deck

It was easy to be grateful for breathing today and a nice reminder to be present more often. I did it about twenty times, feeling grateful for breathing and focusing on it. My husband this past week has been working longer hours and my daughter has been helping with the musical after school. Which leaves me alone time with Aidan most days. He has homework that he needs help with, but it’s nice just having time for just us. I think he’ll be taller than me by this end of the school year. I had a great full day and I’m grateful for all of it.

Here’s my gratitude journal.

Here’s one of my orchid‘s in bloom. I gave them their bath today. They always look like little aliens to me.

For day 24 tomorrow, it’s about having a magic wand to help others. You visualize a family member or a friend who just had their health, wealth, and happiness restored with a flick of a wand. You visualize you just heard the good news from them on the phone and be grateful for hearing it. Pick three people who you could help with and feel gratitude for hearing the good news.

Have a once in a lifetime kind of day today!

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏

  1. Your orchids look gorgeous. I am still waiting to see if I managed to save an orchid I took from my mother-in-law. It was very dry and almost dead when I took her under my wing a month or so ago, but no there are three buds on here from which one looks like it’s going to open any day now, so fingers crossed.
Wishing you much love and joy for the weekend! 💚
