Day 24 of 28

Some seedlings springing up already!
“It’s time to take measure of your life and put roots down.”
&
“Old structures, beliefs, and ideas are falling away to be replaced with vitality and new pathways.”

Denise Linn’s Sacred Forest Oracle

I thought of my elders for today’s gratitude focus. Each paternal three set, mine and my husband’s parents and partners. I looked at a picture of the person I was being grateful for their happiness, health, and wealth. I said thank you three times and thought of how grateful it is to hear good news from each of them.

My parents are known as snow birds, but they’re traveling back from Florida starting tomorrow. I am grateful for the Universe for keeping them safe and warm as they travel back home. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Aidan did well on his two tests that he studied for on Thursday with me. I am grateful I was there haloing him study. Thank you, thank you. Aurora is enjoying tech crew and we went shopping after for some essentials she needed. I am grateful for our close relationship and for how she openly talks to me. Thank you, thank you. Jon worked a very long day today and I am grateful he is happy with what he does for a living and our relationship. I shoveled three inches of snow for our house and two neighbors. I am grateful for the strength and for being able to help my older neighbors out. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Here’s my gratitude journal for today

For day 25 tomorrow, it’s about magical cues. (I’m using Rhonda Byrne’s “The Magic” as my gratitude challenge for the full 28 days.) (Only three days left!) She says that now we should be able to pick up magical cues from the Universe. So during the day, if you see the sunrise, you’ll think “I am so grateful for this day and being able to see the sunrise.” Thank you, thank you. Or you are eating a meal and it’s everything you wanted to say thank you for this meal. When you are by an ATM, “I am grateful for my wealth and how easily money flows to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you.” Seven times throughout the day try to see a magical cue of why to be grateful for that moment.

Enjoy your day fully!

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏
