Day 72 gratitude-a-long

Butterfly: “Today is a day for joy, so alight!”
Frog: “Time to clean house.”
Bear: “Take time out to meditate.”
(Abbreviations because there’s three cards today.)
Cards and words from Colette Baron-Reid’s
The Spirit Animal Deck

I had a good day with challenges but I am grateful for the time to do everything with. We had our annual eye appointments for the kids and myself. Also the kids had ortho too. Teens, teens. They’re constantly testing my boundaries, patience, and intellect. I am grateful for the patience that I have when I truly want to scream. Snarky remarks about their other parents or wanting more screen time when they know better. They know better! I am also grateful for my parents giving me rules, so I now how to enforce them. Maybe not exactly like them, but still. I had a great night with the sugar gliders. They played really hard and kept coming by to see me before jetting back off. Lots of fun.

Here’s my gratitude journal for today:

Here’s some pictures of Sirius and Orion. I actually got a bunch of Sirius today. He’s one climbing the wall.

Have a crazy awesome day!✨

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏
