Day 110

I am grateful for puppy baths because of how delicious Otis smells after and for how he thinks he can drink the whole tub. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am blessed my family worked on the yard with me yesterday and that we got a lot done because it looks so nice when it’s done right and I appreciate their help because it makes it go by way faster. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

On May 15th, I’m starting a 28 day gratitude challenge if you’d like to follow long. I’ll be focusing each day on a different reason to be grateful, ie, relationships, career, money.. I’ll also be going back to writing out around 10 reasons a day in my journal. Which means I’ll be posting at night, so you can wake up and follow along or simply just read what I’m grateful for.

I had to take some time for myself with the passing of Scrappy, he was the best dog in the world. I’m feeling better each day, obviously the puppy helped my mood, but I’m a little heart broken about him. I am grateful for my family for letting me vent about my emotions surrounding it.

With the sun out more it’s easier to remember to shine, and I’m feeling a lot more like myself. So, if you’d like to join in on the gratitude train, be ready 5/15/2022 for a 28 day challenge. (It’s going to be like the one I did in February. If you’d like a reference.)

Enjoy this beautiful sunshine!

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏
