Day 120

I had my daughter’s choir banquet tonight. It was fun but filled with social challenges for me. I am grateful for my husband because he saw all some of my challenges and asked the questions I needed to have a good night. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am grateful for Aurora making friends this year and for an opportunity to work with her school more. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am grateful for Aidan because he finally gets that I’m going to follow up on him and he knows it and does better. I am grateful for a text I read, where he was explaining this to someone. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am grateful for a surprise that I know about, makes life more interesting. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am blessed to help my friend today make her home more lovable from a design front and for chatting about motherhood to her. It was just what I needed to hear and vent about today. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am grateful to be able to create and work on some illustrations for something that I truly love and will spread joy and love to others. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I started that 28 day challenge, but I couldn’t do it currently. There’s some deep healing I need to take on first before doing another teach gratitude practice. I don’t know why but it wasn’t bringing me joy but felt like a burden. I think I have a little too much on my plate, so I had to take that off. I am grateful I realized it and made changes because there’s no reason to loose sleep over problems you create for yourself. Ha. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am incredibly grateful for the trees because of their grand beauty and for cleaning out air, water, and soil. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏
