Day 29

(Day 29 of 365 #gratitudechallenge #gratitudewitch)

Rainbow around the moon tonight

Today was an interesting day for the emotions that presented itself. Anyways, I am grateful that I pulled some cards out and got some reminders and reasons to be happy. With the full moon closing in, irritation comes up in different forms, in different humans. Me included, I got to keep myself in check. I’ve always seen myself as someone who is a full moon person, a werewolf to be exact. If you work in retail or a hospital, you know what I’m calling myself. I’m laughing, but it’s true. I tend to lock myself in my house when that type of irritable comes out. So, that’s where I’ll be the next couple days.

With that said, I thought it would be hilarious to start a 28 gratitude challenge if you’d like to follow along. I’m starting it on the full moon! 2/16/2022. Just do 28 days in a row with me, you have to think about ten things a day to be grateful for. It can be repetitive if you can’t think of something new everyday. I’m sure if you’ve read any of my post, you know I’m repetitive. But the point is to connect with your higher self while reading what you wrote and feeling gratitude as you say it out loud. That’s what I’ve noticed my shift into a more gratitude mindset which just makes me happier.

But if this irritates you, what I’m saying, please don’t do it. I feel it’ll only have the opposite effect on you and I don’t want that for you. This is for anyone who wants to try something on an online community setting and see if you notice something different with how you see the world around you.

Okay tomorrow I’ll share my list of wants and what categories you should focus on your list. Spoiler: Health, Relationships, Money, Love, and Career. I still need to sit down in a quiet spot for a while and think about what I really want. Though, I know some of it now.

I am grateful and blessed for today because of the love I got to give, witness, and receive. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am blessed for being a mom to Aurora, Aidan, Noah, and Cole because they each teach me something different each day, and for making me proud. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

With all my heart, thank you for Jon because how he loves me and our kids, for being loyal and respectful. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am truly blessed for the moon because of how it reminds you to be still and for radiating and reminding us about cycles. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am incredibly blessed and grateful for our home because it’s filled with love and hope and for keeping my family safe and warm. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I am so lucky and grateful for our abundance of money because it pays our bills and more and for letting us be generous with others. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Have a superb day or night!

I’m constantly surrounded by farts, in all serious I am. Three stepsons—12,17,20 one gaseous daughter of 11, and a hungry husband, whose been trying to ditch oven me for the last three years! (I’m a ninja though, so he hasn’t succeeded yet 😉) Right now, I’m making my way through College- about a year and a half left, and then I’ll have a Bachelor’s degree in English and hopefully a book published or at least become a literary agent. In these posts I’m going to cheerfully complain about my kids complaining and the awful smells I endure on a regular basis. Hope ya’ll have fun reading from this artsy Michigander! 😏
